A day is all it took for my heart to pump bliss into my soul -

Simplicity and an instant connection,

Effortless waves of thoughts and conversations -

Raging wonders, covering every pothole.

You are to me an unforeseen expectedness -

Thoughts, images that came to life,

Reality and dreams no longer in strife -

Flashing images into my blindness.

Echoing voice and an infixed smile -

Masculine laughter, wit and humor,

Subtle humility and an adorable pomposity -

Memoirs etched into my mental file.

The complete opposition of a Day -

Flaws seen, expressed, heard, felt,

Imperfections jovially shared -

Equally worthy, supersedingly enticing.

Narratives of facts and a pair of sweets -

Inconvenience and weird dislikes,

Saccharine treats and foolish remarks -

Unadorned simple dining at the fifteenth.

Twinkling stars, passing cars -

Childish steps and easy talks,

Keeping distance til we crossed -

Sharing more laughter under the stars.

Magical, dreamy, wonderfully real -

His arm around me, light and warm,

His fingers finding their way between mine -

Reality as sweet as a dream.

A wonderfully sung melody.

a Day and a Night gladdened my soul;

Worth remembering, retelling to the most.

Living in the moment to be happy.

Of what is going on between the soul and mind

Through opening doors and behaving gentlemanly

And of stories of the journey of your faith

And tried to understand certain things

Of how tactly honest you are on things

While staying open about what I see

All I know is if God wills it, it will happen

So I lift up all in prayers abiding His answers

Jovial, young, reminiscent-full

Each moment priceless for they were no fools

They knew it happened not everyday

They took it, held it, what is more to say?

Each moment diamonds, rubies pearls

Wrapped with hearty youthful cheers

What transpired was already special

Thus what came next made it etherial

A moment captured not by cameras

But by hearts and mental dioramas...

Intertwined fingers, clasping hands

No words spoken for that heartfelt bond

As natural it is for birds to fly

That moment went on as lights went by

They know not how, know not why

Or if it were the force of a magical wine
