Love Is Waiting

may not know who you are right now, how you look like or how you are. I may not know where you live, what you do or who your friends are. I don't know when and how, but know that I am praying for you and this song goes out to you... Until His perfect time, love is waiting for the both of us.

Love Is Waiting
by Brooke Fraser

In the autumn on the ground,
between the traffic and the ordinary sounds
I am thinking signs and seasons while a north wind blows through
I watch as lovers pass me by
Walking stories - whos and hows and whys
Musing lazily on love
Pondering you
I'll give it time, give it space and be still for a spell
When it's time to walk that way we wanna walk it well

[CHORUS:]
I'll be waiting for you baby
I'll be holding back the darkest night
Love is waiting til we're ready, til it's right
Love is waiting

It's my caution not the cold
there's no other hand that i would rather hold
the climate changes, I'm singing for the strangers about you
don't keep time, slow the pace
Honey hold on if you can
the bets are getting surer now that you're my man

[CHORUS]

[BRIDGE:]
I could write a million songs about the way you say my name
I could live a lifetime with you and then do it all again
and like I can't force the sun to rise or hasten summer's start,
neither should I rush my way into your heart

Here's a link to a lyric video of the song

Call me melodramatic or hopeless romantic, but I will always believe in love and that he's out there and in God's time we'll find each other. -iaVember

Is It Goodbye by iaVember

There's too much, too much
Too much for one heart

There's too much, too much
Too much for one soul

There's too much, too much
Too much a cry for one tear

There's too much, too much
Too much pain for one probable goodbye

...

Eyes close and pictures of happiness abound
Yet when it opens, sadness is at its high
A smile for every smile remembered
Yet a tear when the picture of the smile fades

The Heart is holding on to what can still be -
To that possibility that the goodbye need not be
But the Mind, cunning mind, wants to be ready
Stand tall, stay strong for whatever falls

Its invisibility through time makes the pain sting deeeper
No signals nor warnings simply the undertaking
They all add up to this herculean moments
Heftier than the hammer of Thor

With each daylight comes the dreaded night
But now the night seems livelier than the day
The day stings every bit of humanity there is
Thus the night is the only escape

When will this end? When will this be over?
How many days more need to be endured?
How many more nights need be welcomed by a saddened heart?
How many fading memories will fade with none anew?

...

Too much, too much
Too much for our hearts

Too much, too much
Too much for our souls

Too much, too much
Too much crying for our tears

Too much, too much
Too much pain for your probable goodbye

Yet would it be too much, too much
Too much that you'd stay?

Stranger by iaVember

He doesn't know her.

She doesn't know him.

Yet for that moment,
for that brief moment,
She felt like there was something familiar about him.

----------

It was an ordinary day.
Nothing felt special. Nothing seemed new.
She was there to do an errand.

With coffee and bread occupying her hands,
She entered an unfamiliar office and sat on an unfamiliar chair.

As she sat waiting, she felt an unfamiliar stare from across the room.

Subtly, she found herself looking at the corner in front of her.

There He was. Staring at her.

On regular circumstances, she would have already felt uncomfortable -
A stranger was staring at her.
But She didn't.
There was something in His stare -
Something familiar.
Something that made her Smile (from within).

"Here you go," the woman in blue said as she handed her the document she requested.
"Thank you," she said in reply.

As her business was done, She stood up and headed for the door.
And as she was about to close the door, She again caught sight of him.

Staring. That strangely familiar stare.

And without smiling back, She closed the door and left.
But deep inside her, She knew... Her heart was smiling for a reason she doesn't know yet why.
------------------
There could be a reason. There could be none.
That moment could mean something. That moment could mean nothing.

Something or Nothing, She is thankful for that brief moment when She felt happy.
